Job Description

We are seeking an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer to support the design, engineering, and development of instrumentation and control systems for an oil & gas project based in Singapore. The role involves preparing technical documentation, performing engineering calculations, reviewing vendor deliverables, and supporting installation and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with international standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop instrumentation and control design deliverables, including specifications, datasheets, layouts, and engineering drawings.

• Perform engineering calculations related to instrumentation, control systems, and signal interfaces.

• Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of I&C systems with electrical, mechanical, and process disciplines.

• Support site installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities as required.

• Ensure all designs and activities comply with IEC, IEEE, and project-specific codes and standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 8 years of I&C / E&I design experience in oil & gas or EPC projects.

• Proficiency in relevant engineering design software and tools.

• Strong knowledge of international standards and codes (IEC, IEEE, ISA, etc.).

• Good problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
