Responsibilities:

• Support doctors and the clinic team in ensuring smooth daily oncology clinic operations.

• Prepare patients for consultations, including venepuncture, blood collection and laboratory investigations.

• Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments according to clinical protocols and safety standards.

• Perform IV cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care where required.

• Monitor patients during treatment and provide nursing care, education and emotional support.

• Coordinate appointments, investigations, referrals and follow-up care.

• Review and track laboratory/investigation results for timely patient follow-up.

• Dispense medications and provide appropriate patient education as instructed by doctors.

• Monitor medication and medical supply inventory and assist with stock management.

• Maintain accurate nursing records and comply with infection control and regulatory requirements.

• Provide financial counselling to patients and caregivers regarding treatment costs, Medisave and insurance matters.

• Participate in after-hours patient support on a roster basis when required.

• Support general clinic administration and other duties assigned by the Doctor or Nurse Manager.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration, BCLS and AED certification.

• Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience is an advantage.

• Experience in venepuncture and cannulation is strongly preferred.

• Competent in IV cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care.

• Comfortable working with oncology patients and administering treatments according to clinical protocols.

• Strong patient-care, communication and interpersonal skills.
