Position 1: M&E Quantity Surveyor – Tender Team (HQ, building tenders) - SGD 7,500
Position 2: M&E Quantity Surveyor – Project Team (site-based, live projects) - SGD 8,000

About the Role

These roles cover M&E works including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, variations and final accounts across high-profile building developments.

Position 1: Tender Team Role (Buildings) – HQ Office-based, responsible for preparing cost estimates, tender documents, and budgets for upcoming projects.

Position 2: Project Role (Buildings) – Site-based, managing cost control, contracts, and procurement throughout the construction phase.

Both positions involve mechanical and electrical works, ensuring cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and quality from start to finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (varies by role)

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation for M&E works
• Prepare and evaluate M&E BOQs, scopes and subcontractor quotations
• Support tender clarifications, value engineering and tender submissions
• Administer contracts, manage variations and prepare progress claims
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and certify payments
• Track project costs, forecasting and prepare cost reports
• Negotiate with subcontractors and consultants on commercial matters
• Prepare and support final accounts and settlement

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or related discipline
• Relevant experience in M&E quantity surveying within building construction projects
• Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, subcontractor packages and variations
• Familiar with contract administration and cost reporting
• Good communication and negotiation skills
