We are seeking an experienced M&E Design Coordinator to support design development and technical coordination of Mechanical and Electrical systems for a major LTA MRT underground station project in Singapore.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a leading A1 Main Contractor involved in large-scale civil infrastructure developments, ensuring seamless coordination between design consultants, authorities, and construction teams during the delivery of complex MRT infrastructure works.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate Mechanical & Electrical design works for MRT station infrastructure including building services, tunnel systems, and station facilities.
• Review M&E design drawings, technical submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications to ensure compliance with LTA project specifications.
• Coordinate closely with civil, structural, architectural, and railway system teams to ensure integration of M&E systems within MRT station structures.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and LTA representatives on design coordination and authority submissions.
• Support design development, value engineering, and constructability reviews during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure design coordination aligns with construction schedules and site execution requirements.
• Assist in resolving design discrepancies, interface issues, and technical challenges during construction.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings, design workshops, and project review sessions.
• Ensure compliance with LTA requirements, statutory regulations, and project standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in M&E design coordination for infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience working on MRT, LTA infrastructure, underground stations, or major rail projects in Singapore will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems including ventilation systems, electrical systems, fire protection, and station utilities.
• Experience coordinating M&E design with civil and structural teams in complex infrastructure environments.
• Familiar with LTA design submission processes and regulatory requirements.
• Strong coordination, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.
