We are in a joint venture with a well-established Main Contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across Singapore. For the ongoing LTA Civil Infrastructure project involving Tunnels and MRT Station Structures, we are seeking an experienced C&S Design Engineer / Design Coordinator to support design development, technical coordination, and authority compliance, ensuring seamless integration between design and construction teams.

Position 1: C&S Design Engineer - Upto SGD 7,500 (Negotiable)
Position 2: Senior C&S Design Engineer - Upto SGD 10,000 (Negotiable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate civil and structural design works for MRT underground tunnels and station structures.
• Review design drawings, technical submissions, and calculations to ensure compliance with LTA specifications and project requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, Qualified Persons (QP), ERSS designers, and internal construction teams on design coordination and technical matters.
• Support design development, buildability reviews, and value engineering proposals.
• Coordinate shop drawings, temporary works design, and construction method statements with site teams.
• Monitor design progress and ensure alignment with project schedules and construction milestones.
• Assist in resolving design discrepancies, technical issues, and interface coordination during construction.
• Ensure compliance with LTA standards, statutory requirements, and authority submissions.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings, design workshops, and authority inspections.
• Prepare and review technical reports, RFIs, and documentation related to design changes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design or design coordination roles.
• Experience in LTA civil infrastructure projects in Singapore will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with deep excavation works, ERSS systems, diaphragm walls, bored piles, and reinforced concrete structures is preferred.
• Good understanding of LTA submission procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders in Singapore.
• Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
