What you will be doing:

• Prepare orders for food service consistently to specifications as per recipes
• Handle ingredients and maintain mise en place
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitisation in all areas
• Manage wastage control
• Plan and prepare staff meals daily
• Coordinate with the Front of House team to ensure smooth operations
• Advise customers on allergies and intolerances
• Stay knowledgeable about ingredients; including seasonality and sourcing
• Manage stock inventory
• Wash dishes, maintain equipment, maintain exhaust, where required
• Conduct other tasks, where required

What you'd need:

• Enjoy working in a disciplined and fast-paced environment
• Has excellent command of the English language
• Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with the team
• Works well within a team
• Eager to learn and take on challenges
• Highly self-motivated
• Culinary Diploma or 2 years of kitchen experience and excellent knife skills preferred
• Happy to work on weekends and public holidays: 5-6 days a week/48-52 hours a week
