Mott MacDonald Singapore is currently recruiting a Technical Director Building Services for a major project. This role is required toensure integration across the various building services and MEP disciplines,throughout remaining design, tender and construction stages.

The requirements are as below:

• Acting in the best interests of both internaland external stakeholders in the major project environment, ensuring thedelivery of building services design and engineering management in accordancewith the contractual scope, project objectives, programme, budget and quality standards. 
• Leading and managing the technical delivery of buildingservices, maintaining consistency with the broader MEP Design Leadership, including the integration of sitewidesystems and incorporation of specialist requirements.  
• Overseeing and driving the success of all authority submissions and stakeholder approvals, ensuring timely compliance with statutory and project-specific requirements. 
• Support during the Contract tender period tocoordinate responses to tender queries, facilitate design amendments as may be required, participate inthe tender appraisal process, coordinate issuance of IFC drawings.
• Support provision of design support servicesduring the construction period. Main duties expected to include coordinating responses to site queries, review of contractor cost saving design, modification of design and issuance of updated drawings,maintenance of BIM model during the construction period, support to our clientduring progress meetings. 
• Managing budgets, resource planning, and overall performance within the major project’s building services discipline. 
• Facilitating cross-disciplinary collaborationand integration across geographically dispersed teams and disciplines. 
• Supervising internal and external coordination meetings, including meeting participation, resolution of technical and design issues, and maintenance of clear and consistent decision/assumption tracking. 

This role is required to be full time and primarily based onsite at the Changi East Project Office. 

About you:

• Minimum 20+ years of building services design, engineering management, and execution in an international engineering consultancy environment.
• Major projects experience is essential and varied across a range of various projects in the industrial, performance venues, retail, education, healthcare, data centre and commercial sectors.
• Degree in an engineering discipline.
• Professional engineering certification and accreditation (for e.g. Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer).
• A collaborative, open and constructive approach with highly developed relationship management, interpersonal and influencing skills.
