We are looking for Structural Fitters to build and maintain Pipe and Structural Systems.

The selected candidate will get to read blueprints, set specifications, lay out plans for fabrication and installation.

Candidate should be able to use mechanical tools following safety guidelines. Ideally with experience in construction sector and installation of structures with different materials (steel etc.)

Preferably have strong numerical and communication skills and one will find great excitement in seeing the systems built and commissioned.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints to understand requirements
• Set and modify specifications
• Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations
• Must know gas cutting and welding (Basic welding)
• Must have basic knowledge fit-up inspection
• Must have on-site work experience
• Use and maintain tools
• Collaborate with other workers (e.g. welder, painters) to produce finished constructions
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment (e.g. goggles)

Requirements

• Proven experience as Structural fitter
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals
• Good numerical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
