About the role

We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in driving the operational excellence of our precision, CNC and oil & gas manufacturing processes. Based in the Central Region, you will be responsible for optimizing production workflows, ensuring quality standards, and implementing continuous improvements across our state-of-the-art facilities.

What you'll be doing

• Analyzing and enhancing manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness

• Developing and implementing process control plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures

• Identifying and resolving production issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce new technologies and methodologies

• Providing technical support and training to production staff to ensure seamless operations

• Monitoring production metrics and generating insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations

What we're looking for

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar role

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings with good understanding of GD&T

• Proven expertise in precision engineering, CNC machining, and/or oil & gas manufacturing processes

• Proficient in using manufacturing and quality management software (e.g. SPC, ERP, CAD/CAM)

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to workplace safety
