We are in a joint venture with a well-established Main Contractor delivering large-scale building construction projects across Singapore. For ongoing and upcoming high-rise and mixed-use developments, we are seeking an experienced C&S Design Engineer / Design Coordinator to support design development, technical coordination, and buildability integration between consultants and site teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and manage civil and structural design works for high-rise and large-scale building projects.
• Review consultant drawings, structural calculations, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications and statutory requirements.
• Ensure design compliance with BCA regulations and other relevant building codes.
• Liaise with architects, M&E teams, consultants, and site construction teams on design coordination and technical matters.
• Support design development, value engineering initiatives, and buildability reviews.
• Coordinate shop drawings, structural detailing, and temporary works submissions.
• Monitor design progress to ensure alignment with construction schedules and project milestones.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies and technical issues during construction.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, technical workshops, and consultant discussions.
• Prepare technical reports, RFIs, and documentation related to design changes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in civil and structural design or design coordination for building construction projects.
• Experience working on high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare, or institutional building developments in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, and foundation systems.
• Familiarity with BCA regulations, authority submissions, and statutory requirements.
• Experience working within a Main Contractor environment will be advantageous.
• Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
