A leading technology solutions company in the enterprise applications space is looking to hire a Middle-level QA Engineer. This role will be part of an agile engineering team and will focus on ensuring product quality through both manual and automated testing.

Job Description

• Design, create, and maintain manual and automated test cases for functional requirements.
• Perform API testing and basic automation using tools such as Postman.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Execute performance tests with tools like JMeter (basic level).
• Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to review requirements and provide test effort estimates.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Report defects clearly, track them through resolution, and provide testing status updates to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with one or more test automation frameworks/tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Ready API, or similar).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and version control (Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket).
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a big plus.
