About Us
Metta Preschool Punggol has been offering specialized early intervention programs since 2010, catering to children aged 2 to 6 years old of all backgrounds. Our focus is on supporting children diagnosed or suspected with mild to moderate autism spectrum disorders (ASD), global developmental delays, or intellectual disabilities. With a multidisciplinary approach, we aim to help every child achieve their developmental potential through tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEP) across six domains: fine motor, gross motor, adaptive, cognitive, social communication, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Main Responsibilities

• Perform all administrative duties to support social work functions, including case documentation, social report writing, minutes, and correspondence.
• Maintain timely and accurate records of all cases in both physical files and IT systems.
• Conduct means testing, including family interviews and home visits when required.
• Support the Social Worker in delivering professional social work services and advice to families of preschool clients.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care for students and their families.
• Ensure confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism at all times.
• Participate actively in ECHO and GCO meetings with the team and parents.
• Comply with NCSS / MSF / ECDA requirements (SSR, PES, HOMES, QA).
• Engage in professional development by attending relevant training sessions.

2. Other Responsibilities

• Receive training and mentorship from senior Social Workers.
• Provide support in volunteer management when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Social Worker or management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work (recognised by the Singapore Association of Social Workers).
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children and families; experience in a preschool or early intervention setting is an advantage.
• Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrates empathy, attention to detail, and commitment to client welfare.
