About the Role

You'll own the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of our training curriculum and materials — from initial concept through to a fully operational programme supporting both instructor trainees and the public — and act as a mentor and go-to resource for the wider training team.

Key Responsibilities

•       Own the end-to-end lifecycle of training programmes: needs analysis, curriculum design, content development, and rollout to trainees and instructors

•       Develop, maintain, and continuously improve training artefacts (manuals, lesson plans, assessment materials, instructor guides)

•       Establish and run user support processes for trainees and instructors using the training materials

•       Evaluate training quality and effectiveness, and refine content based on feedback and outcomes

•       Mentor and provide guidance to junior trainers and instructional staff on curriculum delivery and best practice

•       Liaise with external training providers/certifying bodies as needed

•       Partner with studio leadership on programme scheduling and certification standards

Requirements

•       Minimum 5 years' track record developing a training programme from the ground up through to successful deployment, plus ongoing development, maintenance of training artefacts, and user support

•       Recognised certification in Training and Assessment or training/instructional design

•       Strong instructional design skills — able to translate technical or specialist knowledge into structured, teachable curriculum

•       Experience guiding or mentoring junior staff in a training or coaching capacity

•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•       Experience in a fitness, wellness, or allied health training environment is a plus but not essential

Nice to Have

•       Existing or willingness to obtain Pilates-related certification within an agreed timeframe

•       Experience with LMS platforms or training documentation systems
