about the job
Looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to be a vital part of an Agile Scrum team, focusing on the design, implementation, and testing of cloud software. You'll be instrumental in ensuring product quality by designing and developing comprehensive test plans and test cases , performing a range of testing (manual and automated, functional, regression, performance, stress) , and driving continuous improvements in testing practices. This is a hands-on role where you'll also be enhancing test automation frameworks , documenting/tracking bugs , and collaborating closely with developers and product owners.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and supporting cloud software.
• Strong experience in software test development using programming/scripting languages (C#, Javascript, TypeScript preferred).
• Proven track record in architecting end-to-end automated test suites for API and web applications.
• Experience with test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD, Continuous Testing, and related tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions a plus).
• Must have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Experience in biotech/bioinformatics or developing instrument software/hardware integration
