This is a 1 year contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the planning, development, evaluation and implementation of family-related programmes
• Conduct information & referral, home visits and work collaboratively with stakeholders / community partners
• Deliver evidence-based parenting talks, workshops, programmes and family events for parents and grandparents.
• Support outreach and engagement efforts with stakeholders such as family coaches, school leaders, educators, community partners, and religious organisations to promote family life education.
• Conduct thorough needs and risk assessments, provide expert consultations, and support holistic case management.
• Lead case conferences and supervise intervention plans
• Maintain accurate casework documentation, approve case assessments, and co-lead reviews of complex cases.
• Mobilise resources and volunteers to design and implement community development initiatives
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards, guide systemic service delivery, and manage critical incidents.
• Support clinical competency development and lead organizational projects.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weeknights and weekends.

• Bachelor/Postgraduate Diploma/Master in Social Work.
• Be a registered Social Worker or Counsellor.
• Minimum 6 years in social work with a focus on casework, counselling, group work, and community work.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in family life education (e.g., parenting or marriage counselling or groupwork facilitation).
• Preferably trained and accredited in:
  • Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Level 2 and 3 (Applicants without these certifications should be open to attending the relevant training.)
• Confident in delivering seminars and facilitating groupwork for large group of adult audience
• Proficient in English; ability to speak Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, organizational and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent clinical and supervision skills, and effective leadership.
• Passionate about supporting families, especially parents/grandparents/caregivers.
