Job Description

Role Summary

Senior Sales Associate oversees daily operations, ensuring service excellence, team performance, and operational efficiency. This role bridges management and frontline staff, ensuring smooth execution across service, kitchen coordination, and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Ensure smooth flow between counter service, QR ordering, and table service

Ensure adherence to SOPs and brand standards

Order Handling & POS

Take and process orders accurately via POS system

Handle cashless payments and basic cashiering duties

Coordinate with kitchen/bar for order fulfillment

Ensure all orders are prepared and served promptly

Food & Beverage Preparation

Prepare basic beverages (coffee, tea, juices) and simple food items where required

Plate and pack antipasti items according to brand standards

Ensure consistency in presentation and portioning

Team Leadership

Supervise, train, and coach service crew

Conduct on-the-job training for new hires

Lead by example during service

Customer Experience

Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally

Ensure high service standards across all touchpoints

Step in during busy periods to support service team

Sales & Performance

Drive sales through upselling

Monitor daily sales performance and key metrics

Ensure product availability and minimize stock-outs

Inventory & Cost Control

Monitor stock levels (food, beverages, retail items)

Conduct stock checks and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO)

Minimize wastage and control operational costs

Compliance & Hygiene

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outlet

Ensure proper handling of food and retail products

Administrative Duties

Handle opening and closing procedures

Prepare basic reports (sales, incidents, feedback)

Requirements

2–4 years of F&B experience, preferably in a café/deli concept

Prior supervisory or team-leading experience preferred

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-format environment

Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
