Job Description

- Oversee daily operations of waste collection, recycling, and disposal within the assigned area
- Ensure waste operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental regulations
- Manage and improve waste collection, transportation, processing, and disposal workflows
- Lead long-term operational and business planning to improve efficiency and profitability
- Monitor KPIs, operational performance, and service quality
- Manage budgets, costs, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability
- Lead, coach, and evaluate department heads and operations teams
- Maintain strong customer relationships, addressing issues and feedback professionally
- Promote a safety-first and environmentally responsible culture
- Drive continuous improvement, waste reduction, and recycling initiatives

Requirements

- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the waste management industry
- At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of waste collection, disposal, recycling practices, and environmental regulations
- Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial performance monitoring
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Ability to analyze data, make decisions, and adapt to operational challenges
- Class 3 driving license with own vehicle
- Certification in waste management or related field is an advantage
