You are responsible for providing an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of commodity supply and demand fundamentals, macroeconomic trends, policies, geopolitical factors and price trends to support trading and strategic decisions.

You are instrumental to building and maintaining arbitrage models, forecasting trade flows and policy driven changes, generating market insights for internal teams

Ultimately, work closely and cooperate with the employer's trading teams and analysis team based in different geographies of the world, all aiming at refining the markets view of the employer.

We encourage the use of technology and AI to develop automation and streamlines process though machine learning.

The above shall apply to Steel Making Raw Materials and the Global Energy Complex.

In Steel Making Raw Materials:

Global Steel Making Raw Materials complex (Iron Ore, Coking Coal, PCI, Metallurgical Coke, Steel, Steel Scrap, DRI/HBI, Manganese Ore and other Ores)

Advise on macroeconomics trends, policies change or material events that may impact the SMRM complex. 

Develop a thorough understanding of the Indian and the Southeast Asia markets in the context of SMRM. 

Communicate effectively with SMRM team members and provide customized deliverables to support commercial decision making. 

In Thermal Coal:

Your focus will be China and how it relates and affects overall Asia and Rest of the World.

To provide information that feeds the Global supply and demand fundamental model currently developed by the Employer.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor Degree

5 years in trading company

5 years in shipping company
