What the Role Is
Be the source of courage and compassion. As a Paramedic Specialist (PRS) with the SCDF, you will be trained to provide first-class prehospital care. When others panic, you are calm and quick to assess and address the patients' needs.

As you progress in your career, you can expect to take up higher appointments such as chief paramedic, paramedic instructor, medical training coordinator etc. In addition, each officer will have an opportunity to further their clinical knowledge and be a Level 4 Certified Paramedic. Good performing PRS can also look forward to accelerated advancement opportunities, where they can be directly promoted to the rank of lieutenant and beyond.

Upon joining SCDF, you can look forward to securing stable full-time employment with an enticing remuneration package. Candidates can stand to earn between $2,940 to $4,370, inclusive of monthly frontline allowances.

What we are looking for

• Diploma from Polytechnic, Higher NITEC in Paramedicine & Emergency Care, IB, NUS High School, NAFA, LASELLE
• Applicants with NS obligations must be medically classified as PES B1 or above
• Minimum pass standard for IPPT
• For Pre-enlistees, there will be a 5-year Minimum Term of Engagement (MTE) bond in lieu of the National Service’s obligation.

Sign On Bonus
As a successful applicant, you will receive a $30,000 sign-on bonus (subject to eligibility) upon emplacement.
