Job Description

1. Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the perfume and cosmetics retail, commercial office, etc sector (fit-outs, pop-ups, counters, shop-in-shops).

• Build and maintain strong relationships with brand clients, retailers, and agencies.

• Understand client needs and translate briefs into tailored design and project proposals.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and pitch presentations to win projects.

• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.


2. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main point of contact between clients, design teams, and contractors.

• Conduct regular meetings and presentations to align on design, timelines, and deliverables.

• Manage client expectations, provide updates, and resolve issues proactively.

• Ensure all projects reflect brand guidelines and meet luxury retail standards.


3. Project Planning & Coordination

• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle: concept development, design approval, production, logistics, and installation.

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.

• Coordinate with internal design, procurement, and production teams.

• Liaise with fabricators, suppliers, and contractors to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.


4. Site & Installation Management

• Supervise on-site installation of counters, kiosks, and pop-up activations.

• Ensure build quality, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications.

• Troubleshoot issues on-site and provide quick, practical solutions.

• Conduct post-installation inspections and handovers with clients.


5. Financial & Administrative Management

• Prepare cost estimates, monitor project budgets, and ensure profitability.

• Manage contracts, invoices, and payment follow-ups.


6. Post-Project & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct post-project evaluations and prepare reports for clients and management.

• Gather client feedback to improve future project delivery.

• Research new retail design trends, materials, and technologies for competitive advantage.

• Recommend process improvements for efficiency and scalability.


Key Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience in sales and project management within retail fit-out / luxury beauty / cosmetics industry.

• Strong understanding of retail design, fixtures, and pop-up activations.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project, Excel) and familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) preferred.

• Strong leadership with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of materials, finishes, fabrication methods, and retail construction standards
