Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support empirical and theoretical research in macroeconomics, with a focus on innovation, corporate investment, and corporate debt.

Scope and Responsibilities:

• Clean, merge, and maintain datasets from multiple sources
• Conduct empirical analysis and support the preparation of research papers, presentations, and figures
• Participate in regular research discussions and contribute to project development

Required skills and interests:

• Strong interest in macroeconomics/finance.
• Solid training in macroeconomics, econometrics and empirical methods
• Experience with statistical software and familiarity with handling large datasets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field
• Strong academic record, particularly in macroeconomics, econometrics and finance courses
• Prior research experience (e.g., thesis, RA work) is preferred

This position is ideal for candidates planning to apply to PhD programs in Economics or Finance. The Research Assistant will gain hands-on experience in frontier research, close mentorship, and exposure to both empirical and theoretical work in the field.
