Job Summary
We are seeking a driven QS & Project Sales Executive to manage both quantity surveying and project sales functions. This role is responsible for sourcing project opportunities, preparing cost estimates and tenders, managing client negotiations, and overseeing commercial aspects of projects from award through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Project Sales & Client Engagement
- Identify and develop new project opportunities and manage the full sales cycle.
- Engage clients to understand project requirements, conduct site visits, and propose suitable solutions.
- Lead pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract finalisation.
Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Carry out quantity take-offs and prepare tender submissions and quotations.
- Review contract terms and conditions, identify cost and commercial risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Follow up on payment responses and resolve discrepancies or disputes.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and cost control.
- Attend meetings with clients regarding contracts, claims, payments, and project matters.
- Track project performance against budget and timeline, reporting progress to management.
- Meet assigned sales and project KPIs.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in QS, project sales, ERSS, or construction-related projects.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Construction / Engineering or related discipline recognized by BCA.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERSS or construction project requirements (preferred).
- QS Skills: Competent in cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and progress claims.
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative B2B sales abilities.
- Project Management: Able to manage multiple projects, timelines, client data, and stakeholders.
- Communication: Confident in liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Software: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM experience is an advantage.
Salary Package:
- Basic salary up to $4,000 excluding sales bonus.
- 5-day work week (40 hours per week)
- 23 days Leave (14 days annual leave and 9 days Casual leave)
- Quarterly Performance when KPI Sales exceeds KPI Target
