• Position: QC Technician
• Company: Well-Established US Medical & Healthcare Packaging Manufacturing MNC

• Salary: Up to $2,500, commensurate with experience

Main Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process products and finished goods according to established specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct visual, dimensional and basic product inspections/testing to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Use appropriate measuring and inspection tools to verify product dimensions and quality requirements.
• Record inspection and testing results accurately and maintain proper QC records and documentation.
• Identify, segregate and report defective or non-conforming products to the relevant teams for further investigation and disposition.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to address day-to-day quality issues and maintain required product standards.
• Assist with sampling inspections, quality investigations and internal/external audits when required.
• Monitor product quality during the manufacturing process and highlight abnormalities or recurring defects.
• Ensure measuring instruments, QC equipment and inspection areas are properly maintained and kept in good working condition.
• Follow established Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, work instructions and safety requirements.
• Support other quality control activities and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE “O” Level, Nitec or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant QC experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Comfortable using basic measuring and inspection tools, such as vernier calipers, micrometers or gauges.
• Able to understand basic product specifications, inspection criteria and work instructions.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects and abnormalities accurately.
• Able to maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with Production and Quality teams.
• Experience within medical, healthcare, packaging or other regulated manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.
