Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably marine or onshore focus), including Instrumentation, would be an added advantage.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in shipbuilding/oshore vessel construction.
Experience in heavy lift vessel or oshore construction vessel (OCV) projects is highly preferred.
Prior experience as a Client Representative or Owner's Engineer is advantageous.
Familiar with project planning tools (Primavera/MS Project) and document control systems.
Have deep understanding of Marine electrical systems (LV/MV, distribution, generators, switchboards); Dynamic Positions systems (DP2); power management systems (PMS); heavy lift electrical integration (including motor
control for cranes/winches); emergency systems, UPS, and redundancy systems; cable management, routing and EMC compliance.
Familiarity with societies' classification, marine standards (IMO, SOLAS, IEC
60092); SCADA, automation, and control systems.
Strong ability to read and critique technical documentation and drawings.

Excellent coordination and communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Problem-solving mindset to resolve design or field issues.
Attention to detail and strong commitment to safety and compliance.
