Job Description:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
- Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and recommend the most suitable suppliers based on commercial and technical considerations.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure procurement records are maintained properly.
- Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery.
- Work closely with internal departments to support operational and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain a reliable supplier base, including alternative sources to improve competitiveness and supply resilience.
- Support vendor performance evaluation and supplier relationship management.
- Ensure procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in cost-saving initiatives, contract review support, and procurement process improvement.
- Assist in maintain the company’s integrated management system for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018
- Assist in all activities related to certification and re-certification audits.
- Prepare, update, and control management system documents, procedures, forms, and records.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
- Support management review meetings by preparing reports, audit summaries, KPI data, and improvement plans.
- Promote awareness of quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety requirements across the company.
- Ensure the company remains audit-ready at all times and continuously improves its management systems.
- Provide guidance to departments on ISO compliance requirements and implementation.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
- Hands-on experience in managing or coordinating ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems.
- Experience in certification / re-certification processes and internal / external audit coordination.
- Internal Auditor qualification for ISO standards will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management, and documentation control.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities across procurement and compliance functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and follow-through.
