About the Role
A globally respected pharmaceutical organization is seeking a skilled and resourceful Procurement Specialist to support site-level sourcing and purchasing operations. This role is key to ensuring procurement activities align with global strategies while maintaining compliance, cost-effectiveness, and supplier performance.


Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Contracting

  • Execute source-to-contract processes for goods and services across assigned categories
  • Support competitive bidding, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
  • Implement preferred supplier networks and drive spend toward strategic vendors

Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and deliver effective sourcing solutions
  • Maintain and optimize supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost-efficiency
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service

Compliance & Systems

  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  • Use procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) for requisitioning, approvals, and contract management
  • Support sustainability and supplier diversity goals in procurement activities

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to procurement data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
  • Assist in tracking procurement metrics and identifying opportunities for cost savings

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of procurement experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, and risk management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
