Duties and Responsibilities:

· Follows established procedures and guidelines to design, install products and services that is required by the Organisation / Client.

· Reviews / implements project / job specification.

· Carry out basic and detailed engineering design including calculations / analysis as per project requirements.

· Prepares detailed material take-off for project procurement and tender proposals.

· Assists in preparing cost estimate for tender proposal.

· Coordinates and cooperates with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interference check and design changes

· Adheres to ISE, Client and International Standards quality requirements in the execution of works as applicable.

· Instructs, supervises, manages and monitors the Designers in the course of work.

· Provides technical assistance to Construction Team

· Attends to Site checks / verification

Requirements:

· Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Familiar with related industrial code and standard such as API 650, API 620, EN14015, ASME Section VIII, division 1 or 2.

· Minimum of 3 years in the relevant working experience in design and drafting of tanks and pressure vessels in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industries.

· Computer literate and good hands-on experience on applications such as Microsoft Office, Auto CAD and tank software.

· Matured personality and being able to work independently

· Good interpersonal, time management and decision making skills
