Morgan McKinley is hiring for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Maintenance and Support: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal network performance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to network incidents, assess the situation, and implement effective mitigation techniques to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
• User Support: Provide exceptional support to users experiencing network-related issues, actively listening to their concerns and taking necessary steps to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
• Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute network-related tasks as part of larger projects, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to existing systems.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Layer 2 protocols and enhancements.
• In-depth knowledge of Layer 3 protocols (IPv4/v6, TCP, UDP) and routing protocols.
• Proficiency in stateful firewalls, non-stateful filtering, and packet inspection
• Good to have: Experience in managing AWS network services, such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and CloudWAN.
• Proficient in Meraki and Juniper products.
• Scripting/Coding in languages such as Python
