Motor Underwriting (Business Development) - Insurer

Key Responsibilities

* Review and underwrite new motor insurance cases in line with internal guidelines

* Liaise with intermediaries and clients on enquiries, renewals, and policy-related matters

* Assess renewal accounts, including claims experience, and provide recommendations

* Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio to support its performance

* Support the team lead on day-to-day underwriting matters and team activities

* Provide basic guidance to junior staff or administrative support where required

What We Are Looking For:

* Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in motor underwriting or motor insurance

* Good understanding of motor insurance and risk assessment

* Familiar with different types of motor vehicles and underwriting considerations

* Comfortable communicating with intermediaries and clients

* Advantage if you possess General Insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI, or ComGI
