Summary:

The M&E Engineer will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of mechanical and electrical works on-site, ensuring all installations meet design, quality, safety, and statutory standards. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver M&E systems effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Review M&E designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure constructability and compliance with project requirements.

• Supervise and coordinate on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and building automation systems.

• Monitor progress of M&E works, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and design issues.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

• Assist in preparing work schedules, resource allocation plans, and progress reports.

• Conduct inspections, quality audits, and testing of M&E systems.

• Maintain proper documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and commissioning records.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant M&E experience in construction, preferably with A1 Main Contractors.

• Knowledge of M&E systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.

• Familiarity with local codes, standards, and statutory requirements.

• Experience with project management and BIM/M&E coordination is an advantage.
