Key Responsibilities

• Machining Operations: Operate and troubleshoot CNC machines, with hands-on experience using FANUC controllers.
• Jigs & Fixtures: Design, maintain, and troubleshoot jigs and fixtures for mechanical components.
• Technical Drawings: Interpret mechanical part drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and cosmetic specifications.
• Mechanical Design: Apply solid understanding of mechanical design principles and structural specifications to solve engineering challenges.
• Process Knowledge: Navigate CNC and injection molding (IM) workflows, including machine programming and resolving process-related issues.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct first-article inspections and mold qualifications to ensure compliance with specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with machine tools, cutting tools, and their processing characteristics.
• Material Knowledge: Experience in metal machining is essential; plastic machining is a plus.
• Problem Solving: Skills in tolerance analysis and troubleshooting machining issues.
• Software Proficiency:CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, UG NX CAM)
  G-code and M-code debugging
  2D/3D CAD software
  Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Soft Skills: Proactive communicator with coordination and collaboration abilities.
