• Position: Maintenance Technician
• Company: Well-Established US Medical & Healthcare Packaging Manufacturing MNC
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:15pm
• Salary: Up to $3,000, commensurate with experience

Main Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and to minimize machine downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs or component replacements where required.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests to support production operations and minimize disruption.
• Assist with machine setup, installation, adjustment and equipment maintenance activities.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and report recurring or major technical issues to the Maintenance Supervisor for further action.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and equipment maintenance documentation.
• Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are properly used, maintained and stored.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established safety procedures, maintenance standards and housekeeping requirements.
• Work closely with Production and relevant departments to support equipment reliability and day-to-day manufacturing operations.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties and assignments as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant maintenance experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to perform routine troubleshooting and repairs.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance practices and the safe use of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Able to read and understand basic technical drawings, equipment manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to equipment maintenance.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with Production and other relevant teams.
• Candidates with experience maintaining production machinery or manufacturing equipment will have an added advantage.
