Our client is the market leader in their industry.   As part of their plan to invest in technology, they are now hiring a new Head of ITSM & Operational Governance to be based here in their Headquarters here in Singapore.  

About the job

Your role involves: 

Practice Governance: Lead ITIL practice owners to establish, standardise, and mature end-to-end service management frameworks across internal teams and third-party vendors.

Operational Stability & Improvement: Drive the global agenda for incident reduction, root cause analysis (RCA), and change control to minimise business disruption.

Vendor & MSP Oversight: Enforce strict adherence to service management controls, operational KPIs, and delivery standards across managed service providers and strategic partners.

Service Operations Oversight: Provide high-level governance for Major Incident Management, Change Enablement, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, and Request Fulfillment.

Executive Insights & Reporting: Define and own Group-wide operational reporting frameworks to deliver data-driven metrics, risk assessments, and executive performance narratives.

Capability & Adoption: Oversee cross-functional ITSM training, process adoption, and continuous service improvement (CSI) initiatives.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 10 years of experience In IT Service management including service governance is required for this role. Deep practical expertise in ITIL and MSP governance models is required for this role. 

Track record of holding multi-vendor environments accountable while influencing senior C-suite and IT executive stakeholders is required for this role. 

Global exposure experience is of added advantage.
