About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Interior Designer to take projects from concept to completion—planning, 3D and technical drawings, materials/FF&E selection, and on-site coordination with contractors and clients. Ideal for someone who enjoys both creative design and practical project execution.

What You’ll Do

• Meet clients to understand needs; develop design briefs, mood boards and space plans.
• Produce concept visuals and presentations (e.g., SketchUp/Enscape/Lumion/3ds Max).
• Prepare detailed drawings & specs (AutoCAD/Revit), joinery details, and material boards.
• Select and specify finishes, lighting, sanitaryware, hardware, soft furnishings and FF&E.
• Prepare cost estimates/BOQ; work with QS/PM on quotations, value-engineering and timelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators and subcontractors; issue and track work orders.
• Conduct site measurements, manage site progress, resolve design/technical issues, and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Attend client and site meetings; provide regular progress updates and handover documentation.

What You’ll Need

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design/Architecture or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in residential and/or commercial ID projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp (or Revit), and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign.
• Solid understanding of construction details, carpentry/joinery, M&E coordination, and local regulations.
• Strong sense of aesthetic, materials, ergonomics and space planning.
• Good communication in English; able to present clearly to clients and work well with site teams.
• Self-driven, organised, able to manage multiple timelines.
• Portfolio showing completed projects (please include drawings + site photos).

Nice to Have (Bonus):

• Revit/BIM, Enscape/Lumion/VRay, MS Project; basic cost estimating.
• Class 3/3A driving licence.
• Experience with design-build/turnkey, retail, F&B, hospitality or corporate offices.
• Mandarin or other languages for vendor/client liaison (optional).
