Job Summary

Teach IELTS classes and prepare students for the official examination, focusing on learners requiring language support. Prior IELTS teaching experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IELTS lessons covering Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking aligned with IELTS band descriptors to improve student performance
• Provide targeted feedback and correction to students to develop strategies for band score improvement
• Conduct mock IELTS tests and track learner progress by creating clear, actionable improvement plans
• Maintain an engaging and supportive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and participation
• Use clear explanations and structured guidance to address language gaps and enhance comprehension

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of IELTS teaching experience
• CELTA, DELTA, or Trinity TESOL certification preferred
• Strong understanding of IELTS assessment criteria and CEFR framework
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
