Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our Korean restaurant in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan menus and create new Korean dishes
* Supervise kitchen staff including cooks, assistants, and helpers
* Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
* Maintain kitchen hygiene and comply with food safety regulations
* Control food costs and manage inventory and supplies
* Train and guide kitchen staff
* Manage daily kitchen operations during service hours
* Work closely with management on menu development and procurement
Requirements:
* Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Korean chef
* Strong cooking skills with knowledge of authentic Korean cuisine
* Leadership and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g. HACCP)
* Good time management and ability to work under pressure
