About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and innovative GIS Low Code Engineer to design, develop, and optimise enterprise geospatial solutions using ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and FME platforms.

This role involves hands-on development, API integration, spatial data processing, and performance optimisation of GIS services. You will play a key role in architecting scalable geospatial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and customisation of GIS applications using ArcGIS Enterprise

• Design and implement FME workflows for spatial data transformation and integration

• Develop and maintain REST APIs for geospatial services and clash analysis

• Optimise spatial queries and enhance GIS service performance

• Provide technical input in geospatial architecture decisions

• Implement automation using Python scripting

• Work in Agile development environments

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • 3D Mapping

  • Survey & Mapping

  • Map Layer Management

  • Global Positioning Systems

• Strong proficiency in:

  • REST API development and consumption

  • Oracle Spatial or PostGIS

  • Python scripting for GIS automation

  • JavaScript for web mapping applications

• Knowledge of OGC web mapping standards

• Experience with spatial data transformation tools (e.g., FME)

• Experience using GitLab or similar version control systems

Technical Skills

• Geospatial platforms (ESRI preferred)

• Programming: Python, JavaScript

• Databases: Oracle Spatial / PostGIS / MySQL / MSSQL

• Web Services: REST, SOAP

• Spatial analysis and data transformation tools

• Version control systems

Good to Have

• Experience with Singapore Government GIS projects

• Knowledge of SGTS (Singapore Government Technology Stack)

• Experience with OneMap APIs

• Exposure to cloud-based GIS solutions

• Experience in spatial big data processing

• Experience in 3D GIS applications

• Familiarity with government security policies for spatial data
