• Position Title: Furniture Varnisher
• Working Location: Redhill
• Working Hours: Monday – Saturday (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic salary + Allowances + Performance Bonus + Medical benefits
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wood finishing work for furniture and home furnishing items, including varnishing, staining, and lacquer finishing.
• Mix lacquer and colour pigments to achieve the required colour and finish, based on samples or specifications.
• Prepare surfaces before finishing (e.g., sanding, cleaning, filling minor defects) to ensure smooth results.
• Apply finishing coats using appropriate methods (e.g., spray gun, brush, wiping) and maintain consistent quality.
• Check completed work for colour accuracy, smoothness, and defects, and carry out touch-ups when needed.
• Maintain and clean tools and equipment (e.g., spray guns, compressors) and keep the work area tidy.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and handle paints, thinners, and chemicals properly.
• Work with the production/team lead to meet daily output and quality requirements.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in furniture varnishing/wood finishing.
• Able to mix lacquer to achieve the desired colour and finish (colour matching is required).
• Good knowledge of wood finishing processes (e.g., sanding, staining, sealing, top coating, touch-up).
• Able to use finishing tools and equipment safely (e.g., spray gun and related equipment).
• Able to follow work instructions and quality standards.
• Team player with a responsible work attitude.
