Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Funeral Operations Executive who will oversee and ensure the smooth execution of funeral services while providing compassionate support to families. This role involves managing funeral arrangements, coordinating logistics, and maintaining service excellence. Over time, the role can transition into a sales-oriented position, where you will assist families with pre-planning funeral services and provide guidance on funeral packages.


Key Responsibilities:

Operations Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute funeral arrangements, ensuring all logistics run smoothly.

• Liaise with families to understand their needs and ensure all requests are met with empathy and professionalism.

• Oversee transportation, setup, and teardown of funeral services, including wake management.

• Work closely with suppliers, cemeteries, crematoriums, and religious organizations to facilitate seamless services.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company service standards.

• Maintain proper inventory and operational readiness of funeral equipment and supplies.

• Handle unexpected situations professionally and provide solutions under pressure.


Sales & Advisory Responsibilities (Convertible Role):

• Educate and guide families on pre-planning funeral services and available funeral packages.

• Provide consultations to clients on funeral arrangements and related services.

• Build long-term relationships with clients through compassionate engagement and follow-ups.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify potential leads and referrals.

• Attend networking events and community engagements to promote funeral pre-planning services.

• Develop skills in sales advisory and transition into a client-facing sales role over time.


Requirements:

• Passion for serving families with empathy and professionalism.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Sales experience or willingness to develop sales skills is a plus.

• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel for funeral services is preferred.
