Job Responsibilities

• Manage facility upgrading, expansion, and improvement projects to ensure timely completion, cost control, and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate engineers, technicians, and contractors in preventive and breakdown maintenance, building services, and facility operations.
• Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of critical facility and utility systems to minimise disruption to business operations.
• Monitor utility capacity and consumption, and develop plans to support future operational and capacity requirements.
• Oversee the performance and maintenance of key facility systems, ensuring operations are in line with specifications, SOPs, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Drive energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives, including lean energy programmes.
• Monitor departmental objectives and key performance indicators, and drive actions to achieve agreed targets.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and facility-related procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and relevant stakeholders on facility maintenance, improvement, and project activities.
• Support other engineering and facility-related projects or duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Facilities Engineering, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in facilities engineering, plant maintenance, utilities, or project management.
• Hands-on knowledge of facility and utility systems such as compressed air, cleanroom systems, air-conditioning, or other plant infrastructure.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance, facility operations, and engineering project coordination.
• Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
