Job Summary

You will lead the end-to-end management of Bill of Materials (BOM) conditioning and supplier quote processes to deliver accurate, cost-effective proposals that support business unit objectives and drive supply chain competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead BOM conditioning activities including Make/Buy codings and commoditizing parts to optimize cost and supply chain efficiency
• Identify custom mechanical material requirements and coordinate cross-functionally to develop comprehensive quote proposals with full ownership of the quote process
• Plan and facilitate quote kick-off meetings to align stakeholders and ensure timely project execution
• Prepare supplier Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages and solicit competitive quotes from the supply base to support costed BOM proposals
• Analyze and review supplier quotes to deliver complete, accurate, and costed BOM proposals to Business Units, enabling informed decision-making
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable quote submissions
• Track and provide feedback on supplier performance regarding quote timeliness and quality to continuously improve supplier engagement
• Collect and incorporate customer feedback on proposals to identify and implement process, tool, and execution improvements for future submissions
• Apply working knowledge of materials, assembly, fabrication processes, and supply sources to support a competitive supply chain strategy for each quote
• Communicate ideas clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats using appropriate business style
• Adhere strictly to company security policies and procedures in all activities
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Min Diploma holder with a technical background preferred
• Experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) or manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and Vlookup/Xlookup functions
• Demonstrated analytical skills applied to supplier quote evaluation and BOM cost analysis
• Effective negotiation skills used to secure favorable supplier terms and pricing
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple quote projects concurrently
• Willingness to work on-site at Changi North Crescent.
