Commitment Period: 2 months internship: August – September 2026

This isn’t a back-office internship. You’ll be at the centre of the action, helping industry leaders connect, schedule, and meet smoothly at a large-scale regional event.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support our official meeting programme, the platform that connects attendees, exhibitors, and decision-makers before and during the event.
Pre-Event (Before the Show Goes Live)
- Help attendees schedule meetings using the official event app/platform.
- Follow up with participants to complete pending meeting requests (yes, you’ll help drive engagement).
- Provide basic troubleshooting if someone gets stuck navigating the platform.
- Work with the team to ensure all meetings are properly recorded and updated.
You’ll learn how structured networking at large B2B events actually works behind the scenes.
Onsite (Where It Gets Real)
- Manage check-ins at the meeting zones.
- Ensure meeting rooms are ready and sessions run on time.
- Track confirmed meetings and update the system live.
- Troubleshoot real-time scheduling or app issues.
- Help maintain a smooth flow between back-to-back meetings.
- Coordinate quickly if there are changes, delays, or special requests.
You’ll be interacting with professionals across the energy sector, building confidence, problem-solving skills, and real-world experience.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is confident communicating with professionals.
- Stays calm under pressure (especially during live events).
- Is organised and detail-oriented.
- Enjoys helping people and solving problems.
- Can think on their feet and adapt quickly.
- Is comfortable using apps, digital platforms, and basic spreadsheets.
