Electrical Project Manager – Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical works for construction projects. The role involves planning, coordination, execution, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and oversee all electrical project activities from start to completion
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Review electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance
• Manage project schedules, manpower, and resource allocation
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions
• Ensure all works comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards
• Prepare and track project budgets, cost control, and variation orders (VO)
• Attend site meetings and provide technical guidance to site teams
• Liaise with authorities and consultants for approvals and inspections
• Supervise and mentor engineers, supervisors, and BIM modelers
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and project records are maintained

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical field (construction / M&E)
• 2-3 Years of experience as an project manager
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and practices
• Experience in managing large-scale projects is an advantage
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Familiar with software such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Revit is a plus
