Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director to oversee and drive our international exhibitions in Jewelery and Food & Beverage sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing international projects, congresses and events, and possess a deep understanding of the local and Italian culture.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire multicultural and international teams.
- Strong coordination capabilities, managing projects and operations seamlessly across multiple time zones.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Asia, collaborating with regional partners, suppliers, and clients.
- At least 5 years of professional experience outside Asia (Europe preferably) collaborating with regional partners, suppliers, and clients
- Extensive event management experience, having successfully organized and executed corporate events across Asia.
- Ability to work under pressure, consistently delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
- Advanced knowledge of AI software tools, leveraging technology to increase efficiency and support strategic decisions.
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software, ensuring accurate, streamlined financial workflows.
- Client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, handle negotiations, and maintain strong relationships with all the stakeholders.
- Business development expertise, including identifying opportunities, acquiring new clients, and driving market expansion.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of developing new markets and creating innovative business solutions.
As a Senior Director, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, working on sales, marketing and operation aspects, deal with international stakeholders, and ensuring that all projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating international operations and identifying new opportunities for growth in both foreign & local markets.
Key Responsibilities: ·Lead and manage international projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines · Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions to develop and execute successful strategies · Provide guidance on market entry, product adaptation, and international expansion in the Jewelery and F&B sector · Ensure compliance with local regulations, food safety standards, and quality assurance processes · Build and maintain relationships with international clients, suppliers, and stakeholders · Monitor project progress and report on key metrics, offering insights for improvement · Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour in international market.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required for effective workplace communication. Familiarity with Italian, Spanish, or French may be beneficial for the role when interacting with overseas stakeholders.
