Job Summary

You will lead coordination and design review activities for geotechnical works in deep excavation projects, ensuring compliance with statutory codes and project requirements to support safe and effective construction outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination with QPS and contractor's design teams to resolve design issues related to Temporary and Permanent Works, ensuring alignment with project objectives
• Review, evaluate, and assess contractor submissions to verify compliance with statutory codes and regulatory requirements
• Conduct detailed checks of all shop drawings and construction drawings to confirm adherence to authority requirements and BCA-approved drawings
• Perform independent design checks to validate compliance with statutory codes and project specifications
• Apply geotechnical design expertise to support deep excavation projects, contributing to risk mitigation and project safety

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant design experience in geotechnical works for deep excavation projects, preferably within LTA projects
• Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
