Green Badge contractor specializing in Proto One Storage Drive Consolidation operations within Singapore (SIN) cluster data centers. This role supports the Proto One program by securely transferring healthy storage drives from donor hosts to recipient hosts, working under Blue Badge supervision to optimize fleet utilization and reduce waste.

You will be assigned as a green badge contractor for 12 months where you will have exposure to learn and understand how our Data center works, interact with our support teams and customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Perform storage media (HDD, SSD etc.) sanitization and destruction tasks

• Work within a ticket-based environment and work on systematic problem resolution

• Participate in media destruction processes when required (with Blue Badge Verifier)

• Media break fix

Basic qualifications

• Diploma Holders in Electrical & Electronics, Computer & Communications Engineering, Information & Digital Technologies. Alternatively, you have Technical education (e.g. ITE) with relevant working experience
• Basic knowledge of Cloud computing technologies and IT system hardware• Passionate about IT infrastructure and hardware
• Preferably residing in the Eastern part of Singapore

Preferred qualifications

• Familiar with Linux operating system.

• Experience of server operation system level development, familiar with server hardware components and basic troubleshooting
