Cybersecurity Engineer (Vulnerability & Cloud Security) - 1-Year Renewable Location: Tanjong Pagar

Role Overview
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer (Blue Team) to support ongoing security operations, with a strong focus on vulnerability management, cloud security, and system security enhancements.

This role is hands-on and engineering-focused, working closely with infrastructure and cloud teams to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities

Vulnerability Management

• Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7
• Analyse and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk
• Work with internal teams to remediate and track vulnerabilities
• Provide reporting and recommendations for risk mitigation

Cloud Security

• Support and enhance security configurations in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Manage identity and access controls (IAM, policies, roles)
• Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations and risks

Security Engineering & Enhancements

• Implement and improve security controls across systems and infrastructure
• Harden servers, endpoints, and cloud environments
• Support deployment and tuning of security tools and solutions

Security Operations (Non-Shift Based)

• Support day-to-day security operations during business hours
• Assist in incident response and investigation when required
• Maintain and optimize security tools and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in cybersecurity / information security roles
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability management and remediation
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., vulnerability scanners, SIEM, EDR)
• Good understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+)
• Experience in infrastructure or system engineering
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices
