• Industry/ Organization Type: Civil and Infrastructure Contractor
• Position Title: Contract / Commercial Manager (Construction)
• Working Location: West – Pioneer
• Working Hours: 5 days / Mon-Fri: 8.30am-6pm
• Salary Package: Up to SGD 10,000 + Variable bonus (min. 1 month)
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Ensure full compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and legal obligations
• Keep contract documents and related correspondence current and well-organized.
• Identify, prepare, and submit claims, variations, and extension-of-time requests
• Negotiate claim and variation settlements with clients and subcontractors.
• Track cost performance to safeguard project profitability
• Evaluate contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Advise project teams on contractual rights, duties, and liabilities
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders on contract matters.
• Support project managers in resolving commercial and contractual issues
• Hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep execution aligned
• Prepare periodic contract management reports for management review
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, claims, and disputes

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field
• Min. 8 years of experience in contract management in road construction, civil works, and/or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in claims preparation, dispute resolution, and cost control
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office, contract management software, and project documentation tools
