Job Summary

Perform cleaning and meal preparation tasks in a childcare centre to maintain a safe, hygienic environment and support children’s daily nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Clean childcare centre areas, including vacuuming, mopping floors, wiping fans, windows, and toilets to maintain hygiene standards
• Assist the cook in preparing breakfast and tea break meals to support children’s nutrition needs
• Portion and distribute lunch to classes accurately and timely
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices during meal preparation and cleaning tasks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess WSQ Food and Hygiene Certification (optional)
