Job Summary

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment in classrooms, play areas, restrooms, kitchen, and outdoor spaces at the centre.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors and surfaces in classrooms, play areas, and common spaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas to meet health and safety standards
• Clean and maintain the centre’s furniture, equipment, and teaching materials to ensure good condition and usability
• Inspect and clean the outdoor play area to keep it safe, clean, and free of hazards
• Assist with food preparation during the cook’s absence to support smooth kitchen operations
• Manage waste disposal by collecting and disposing of garbage properly to maintain a clean environment
• Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from the Principal to complete assigned duties effectively

Required competencies and certifications

• Experience cleaning and maintaining commercial or educational facilities to ensure appropriate hygiene standards
• Strong organizational skills to manage cleaning tasks efficiently and pay attention to detail
